1 c. milk 4 rounded tbsp. flour 1 c. granulated sugar 1 stick softened butter 1/2 c. Crisco 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cook together milk and flour until it leaves the side of the pan and forms a lump. Set aside and cool. Add to flour mixture sugar, butter, Crisco, and vanilla. Beat until real light and fluffy. Keeps well, refrigerated. Makes a lot. |
