PEPPERED BEEF BRISKET
 

4-5 lb. boneless brisket (or flank steak)
1/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper (ex. Mr. Pepper)

MARINADE:

2/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. catsup
1 1/2 tsp. paprika
1 garlic clove, minced

Make marinade. Add beef and marinate overnight. Drain. Place pepper on waxed paper and press fat side of brisket into pepper. Place in baking pan, peppered side up. Cover pan with foil and bake at 300 degrees F. for 3-4 hours or until tender.
