BEEF SHANKS
 

Key ingredient: beef. Preparation: slow cooker. Food group: meat. Meal(s) : lunch, dinner. Course(s) : main. Temperature(s) : hot. Effort: easy. Time: 8 hours. Occasion: any time. 1 env. onion soup 16 oz. can tomato sauce 1 can tomato soup 1 can condensed beef broth

Place 3 shanks of beef on bottom of crock pot. Pour on soup mix and half of tomato sauce. Place remaining shanks and rest of sauce and beef broth. Cook slow all day. Serves 6.
