Pastry for a 10-inch pie shell 1 c. diced cooked ham 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 c. steamed chopped broccoli 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 4 eggs 1 c. half & half 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. chopped pepper parsley Line large quiche dish with pastry. Bake at 400 degrees for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and punch with fork. Bake 5 minutes longer, let cool. Place ham and broccoli in shell, top with cheese and nutmeg. Beat eggs, half & half, and seasonings together. Pour over cheese in quiche dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until firm. |
