PORK LOIN ROAST
 

1/2 env. onion soup mix (or more)
5 lb. pork loin or Boston Butt
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. flour

Place 30x18 inch pieces of foil (heavy) in baking pan. Sprinkle soup mix in center of foil. Trim excess fat from meat. Place meat fat side down on soup mix. Fold foil securely. Cook 3 1/2 hours in 300 degree oven. Open foil wrap carefully. Remove meat to warm platter.

Measure drippings and add enough water to measure 2 cups. Pour liquid into pan. Blend 1/2 cup water and the flour. Stir into liquid in pan. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
