PORK CHOPS, THYME AND HONEY

4 pork chops
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. fresh or dried thyme
3 tbsp. honey

Melt the butter in a skillet. Wash the pork chops and pat them dry. Spread half the honey over one side of the chops. Sprinkle with half the thyme and place, honey side down, in the skillet. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

While the chops are cooking, spread the remaining honey and thyme on the top sides. After 10 minutes turn and cook for another 10 minutes. Nudge the chops from time to time with a wooden spoon to prevent them sticking to the skillet. Remove the chops to a warm serving plate and pour the sauce over them. If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a bit of white wine. Serve hot.
