BOHEMIAN BEEF STROGANOFF

Onions
Ground meat
Sour cream or yogurt
Paprika
Cumin
Salt & pepper

1. Saute onions. Coat the bottom of pan with sliced onions. When you put the meat on top of the onions, you won't need butter or oil to saute.

2. Add the ground meat (veal, turkey or hamburger). Brown and break up. The meat can be right out of freezer and into the pan, as it defrosts while cooking.

3. Mix in sour cream or yogurt, to taste.

This recipe is quick, cheap, easy and tasty. This can be served with:

NO MEASURE RICE:

In addition to the directions on the package of rice, I have found my own way of cooking rice which tastes better.

1. Put dry rice into pot and heat with a touch of olive oil. If you want to, you can add some sesame seeds or wheat kernels.

2. Boil water in tea kettle. When pot is hot, pour boiling water over rice and it'll sizzle. Pour 1 inch of water over the rice. Cook for 30-40 minutes. Add a bullion cube if you wish. This makes like a Rice Pilaif and compliments Bohemian Beef Stroganoff.
