4 to 5 lbs. roast, cooked and shredded 1 1/2 lbs. Jack cheese, grated 2 (16 oz.) cartons sour cream 2 bunches green onions, chopped 2 pkgs. flour tortillas, regular size Combine first 4 ingredients in very large bowl. Spoon mixture onto flour tortillas and roll. May be heated and served immediately or frozen and later warmed in microwave oven as desired. SAUCE: 2 pkg. taco seasoning mix 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 16 c. water Combine sauce ingredients and cook according to directions on package. Serve over warmed tortillas. Roast meat slowly 250 to 300 degrees until very tender, then shredd. (Cuisinart can be used.) |
