HOMEMADE BBQ BEEF
 

3-5 lb. beef roast, any kind
2 sm. bottles barbecue sauce, any kind
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. meat tenderizer
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper

Trim fat on roast. Mix well all ingredients in large bowl. Cover the roast in the mixture after placing the roast on heavy duty aluminum foil. Wrap roast tightly in foil. Place in brown paper bag. Cook at 250 degrees for 24 hours. Check at 12 hours. Serve with soft rolls as sandwiches or as a main dish.
