3 lbs. lean beef short ribs 1 lg. onion 1 can beef broth 1 can water (Or omit onion & broth & use 1 can onion soup & 1 can water) Brown ribs well in oven or on top of stove, in Dutch oven or large skillet. Drain off all fat. Add other ingredients, cover with aluminum foil, bake 2 hours at 350 degrees. This recipe may also be cooked in a crock pot, cooking time - 7 to 8 hours on low or 4 to 5 hours on high. |
