BRAISED BEEF AND BURGUNDY
 

2 lb. flank steak
2 green peppers
1 lg. onion
12 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 celery
Heart, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. burgundy
1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 lb. med. egg noodles

Place cubed beef and chopped vegetables in roasting pan. Add wine, salt and pepper. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Pour meat juice into saucepan. Bring to boil. Melt butter and mix in flour. Whisk into meat juice to make sauce. Add meat to sauce and pour over cooked noodles. Serves 6-8.
