PIZZABURGER MEAT LOAF
 

1 c. water
1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese

Combine water, tomato paste, and onions in saucepan; simmer 20 minutes. Mix together beef, bread crumbs, egg, Italian seasoning and salt. Add 1/2 cup simmering sauce and blend well. Form into a loaf; place in a baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes. Pour remaining sauce over top of loaf, sprinkle with cheese, and bake 15 minutes longer. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
