Tristan, how did your roast turn out. Recipe sounds good and it really seems easy. Just wondering about that can of Coke!

Ok, the coke really works...gave it some really good flavor however don't use the drippings to make gravy (way too sweet). Also, I cooked mine for 4 1/2 hours and it seemed a little too done...less time is needed, use a meat thermometer and get it just right (probably would have been perfect at about 3 1/2 to 4 hours).

I just made this recipe for company. I was a little nervous making a new recipe for company but it was GREAT!! Been making pot roast for ever but never had one tastier. Will always use this recipe from now on. Thank you:)

Will Pepsi work instead of Coke? I am making it tomorrow AM. i was going to put all ingredients in a bag tonight and let it sit overnight. Let you know how that works.

Everyone knows Pepsi and Coke are not interchangeable!!! Coke is the REAL THING! LOL.

This is so good and so easy. I love this receipe! I do add potato and veggies as well to the crock pot. I've served this easy dish many times since I found it here early this year and everyone thinks it tastes great.
