1/3 c. A-1 steak sauce 1/4 c. ketchup 2 tbsp. minced onion 8 (1 1/2 inch) steaks from beef tenderloin 1/4 c. orange marmalade 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 crushed garlic clove 8 slices bacon Mix steak sauce, marmalade, lemon juice, onion and garlic. Wrap each steak with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick. Grill on hot heat, 450 to 475 degrees. Turn every 4 minutes and baste each time. Cook for 20 minutes for medium well, or 16-18 minutes for medium rare. Do not baste the last 2 turnings. |
