2 1/2 - 3 inch top round steak Meat tenderizer MARINADE: 1 c. wine vinegar 1/2 c. oil 2 tbsp. minced onion 2 crushed bay leaves 1/2 tsp. marjoram 1/2 tsp. thyme Pierce meat on each side and sprinkle with meat tenderizer. Marinate meat for 2 hours, turning several times. Brushing off any remaining marinade, cover meat with black cracked pepper. Broil 6 inches from broiler (or on grill) 10 minutes each side, then 8 minutes each side. |
