1 1/2 lbs. round steak Shell sirloin or london broil 3/4 tsp. instant tenderizer 3 tbsp. cooking oil 1/2 c. beef bouillon or canned beef broth 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. light molasses 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp. monosodium (accent) 1/2 tsp. ginger 2 tsp. lemon juice Cut meat into small cubes and sprinkle on tenderizer and brown in oil. Add to browned meat, 2 large green peppers, cut into strips, 1 large white onion, chopped into large pieces and 1 1/2 cups diagonally cut celery. Combine all spices and add to meat and vegetable and stir until thick. Serve over rice. |
