PERSONAL PIZZAS
 

Shortening
All purpose flour
1 pkg. (10 biscuits) refrigerated biscuits
1 (8 oz.) can pizza sauce
1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (approximately 1 cup)

TOPPING: (Use 1 or more)

Sliced pepperoni

Sliced hot dogs

Chopped green pepper

Pickle relish

Sliced olives

With adult help, turn oven to 425 degrees. Grease 1 or 2 baking sheets with some shortening. Sprinkle cutting board with some flour. Pull biscuits apart. Put 1 biscuit on the floured board. Use rolling pin to roll out biscuit until it is a circle 4 inches across, as shown. Put on baking sheets. Repeat Step 2 with the rest of the biscuits. Add more flour to the board if biscuits start to stick. Spoon about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the pizza sauce onto each biscuit. Spread evenly over the biscuits. Sprinkle each with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cheese.

Can opener
Baking sheets
Cutting board
Rolling pin
Ruler
Measuring spoons
Hot pads
Pancake turner

Let each person put favorite toppings on 1 or 2 pizzas. With adult help, put pizzas in hot oven. Bake until crust is brown. This will take 10 to 15 minutes. Turn off the oven. With adult help, remove pizzas. To serve, use a pancake turner to put hot pizzas on plates.
