8 oz. flour
1/2 pt. milk
1 egg
Pinch of salt
1 lb. sausages
1 oz. fat

Oven temperature: Gas #5, 300 degrees. Sieve flour and salt into a bowl. Whisk egg and milk together. Make a well in flour and add milk and egg gradually, stirring in figure eight movement with wooden spoon.
