6 oz. can tomato paste 1 qt. tomato sauce 1/2 med. onion 3 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano 1/8 tsp. marjoram 1/4 tsp. slat 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. sugar Dash of garlic salt 1/4 tsp. leaf sweet basil 1 tbsp. oil MEATBALLS: 1 1/2 lb. hamburger 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 eggs Dash of garlic salt 5 tbsp. spaghetti sauce Brown onion in oil. Add rest of sauce ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally to desired thickness. Mix all meatballs ingredients together. Form into balls. Drop gently into sauce and simmer until cooked. Serve over your favorite cooked spaghetti. |
