1 lb. ground beef 3/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. molasses 2 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce 1/8 tsp. hot sauce 1/2 c. catsup Hamburger buns Optional: 1 whole small chopped onion may be added to beef Sprinkle beef with salt. Add onion. Brown beef and onion in skillet, breaking up with fork. Blend together molasses and mustard and stir in Worcestershire Sauce, hot sauce and catsup. Add to beef and heat to serving temperature. Toast hamburger buns. Spread with barbecued beef. Top with onion rings and dill pickles if desired. Yield: 6 sandwiches. |
