MOCK FILET MIGNON
 

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 c. cooked rice
1 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 slices bacon
Mushroom sauce

Combine meat with rice and seasonings. Divide into 8 equal parts. Form into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Wrap bacon around edge and fasten to pattie with toothpicks. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 15 minutes at 450 degrees.

Serve with mushroom sauce. This can be mushroom soup or dehydrated package of mushroom soup mix.
