1 can of cherry pie mix 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.) 1 box yellow cake mix 1/3 c. apple sauce Mix the cake mix as directions on box only. Use apple sauce in place of added shortening. Put the fruit in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch cake pan (sprayed with Pam) and pour the cake mixture over fruit. Cook in 350 degree oven until brown. You can use any other fruit. Make a filling of water and cornstarch for fresh fruit. Cook the fruit and add the filling to it. |
