DILLED CUCUMBER AND YOGURT SALAD
 

1 head leafy lettuce or mixed greens
2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. dill weed
1 slice raw onion
1 c. yogurt
1/8 tsp. turmeric
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Put water, vinegar, dill and onion in large bowl. Add cucumber slices and marinade 30 minutes or longer. Drain, discard onion.

In separate bowl, mix yogurt, salt, pepper, and turmeric and then stir into cucumber mixture. Serve over beds of fresh cleaned lettuce or mixed greens.
