VITAL VEGETABLE SANDWICH FILLING
 

Nearly egg salad! A surprisingly good filling that will keep fresh a week. Will fill 3 sandwiches or 4 pitas generously. 2 tbsp. light mayonnaise style dressing 2 tsp. prepared yellow mustard 2 tsp. soy sauce (or Worcestershire) 1 sm. clove garlic, pressed or dash of garlic powder 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed 1/4 tsp. turmeric 4 tbsp. (1/4 c.) chopped celery 3 tbsp. grated carrot Black pepper to taste 1 tbsp. scallion, onion, or pickle relish (optional)

Mash first 6 ingredients with a fork. Stir in vegetables. Chill.
