2 egg whites 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. dark Karo syrup 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla Couple drops of maple flavoring Beat egg whites with salt until fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth and glossy. Slowly add Karo syrup (room temperature) and continue beating until frosting peaks. Fold in vanilla and a couple drops of maple flavoring. Enough for two 9 inch layers. |
