3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter (soft)
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
1 c. grape jelly
2 egg whites, slightly beaten

Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Cut in butter and peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in egg whites, mixing well until flour is moistened.

Press half of the dough into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Spread grape jelly over dough. Crumble remaining half of dough over jelly. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven 30-35 minutes or until crumbs are firm and dry. Let cool, then cut into bars.
