2 lb. green beans, trimmed
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
4 cloves garlic
4 heads fresh dill
2 1/2 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. salt
Water
Pack beans in hot jars with 1/4 inch head space. In each jar, put 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 clove garlic and 1 head of dill.
In saucepan, combine water, vinegar and salt. Bring to boil. Pour over beans, leaving headspace. Adjust lids. Process 10 minutes to seal. Makes 4 pints.
