Put paper cups in each cupcake holder. Toss dates, candied fruit cherries, raisins, and nuts with 1/2 cup flour. Add 1/2 cup flour to Dromedary pound cake mix. Blend in butter. Add 1/2 cup milk. Blend until dry ingredients are moistened. Beat 1 minute on low speed. Add eggs. Blend. Beat 1 minute at high speed. Add 1/4 cup milk, beat 1 minute longer. Stir in fruit, one third at a time. Mix thoroughly.
Spoon 1 tablespoonful into each baking cup. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Wrap in foil for storage.
