MAKE AHEAD CRUNCHY OVEN FRENCH TOAST

3 eggs
1 c. half and half
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. corn flakes, crushed fine
8 diagonally cut slices French bread, 3/4" thick

Have ready a greased shallow pan with slight edge. In a shallow bowl combine eggs, half and half, sugar, vanilla and salt and mix very well. Place the crushed cereal in a second shallow bowl. Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture making sure that the egg mixture is well absorbed. Dip the slices in the cereal pressing the cereal into both sides of the bread. Place each slice on the pan. Cover and place in the freezer until well frozen, overnight is fine.

Heat oven to 425 degrees and bake 20 minutes, turning once. Enjoy.

Frozen slices can be stored in a Ziplock bag until needed. My family loves this.
