SWISS BLISS
 

1/2 tbsp. butter
2 lb. top sirloin or chuck steak at least 1 inch thick
1 scant envelope onion soup mix
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained, chopped, reserve juice
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1/2 c. juice from canned tomatoes
1/4 tsp. salt, pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 (20 in.) sheet heavy duty foil

Spread center of foil with butter.

Cut steak in serving portions and arrange on foil. Sprinkle with onion soup mix, mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers. Mix juice with Worcestershire sauce and cornstarch, salt and pepper. Pour over meat and vegetables. Bring foil up and double fold edges to seal tightly.

Bake 2 hours in moderate oven, 365 degrees.
