SWISS ALPINE PIE
 

1 unbaked pastry shell (10 inches)
1 sm. pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
2 c. precooked ham cubes (1/2 lb.)
2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
3 tbsp. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. milk, scalded
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drain and chop broccoli. Layer half of broccoli, ham and cheese in pastry shell. Repeat. Sprinkle onions over the top and set it aside. Gradually stir milk into eggs and add seasonings. Pour into pastry shell over ham, broccoli and cheese mixture.

Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue to bake for an additional 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand a few minutes before serving.
