HALVA
 

1 box Farina (cream of wheat)
2 1/2 sticks butter

Melt butter in large frying pan and pour in Farina slowly, stirring constantly until light brown.

Pour syrup into mixture very slowly and continue mixing until Halva is thick. Keep heat at a consistent level. Pour into lightly buttered mold and cover with nuts and cinnamon.

SYRUP:

2 c. sugar
4 c. water
Vanilla to taste

Boil while you are cooking Farina.
