"EASY" FRENCH TOAST
 

Beat together with fork until blended: 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1/4 tsp. nutmeg or 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat fry pan and add 2 tablespoons butter, tilt to grease entire bottom. Dip slices of bread into egg mixture, only until coated. Fry at once until browned on both sides, 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 9 to 10 slices of bread. Serve hot with applesauce or your favorite flavored syrup.
