GINGER SAUCE: 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. chicken stock or water 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. fresh grated ginger or 2 tsp. dried BBQ RUB: 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/4 tsp. turmeric 1/4 tsp. celery seed Dash of dry mustard Place ribs in pan large enough to hold ribs as 1 layer. Combine ingredients for ginger sauce, pour over ribs. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning once or twice. Remove ribs and pat dry, reserve marinade for grilling. Combine ingredients for BBQ rub, pat over ribs. Grill for 30 minutes basting often. Serve with hot Chinese mustard for dipping. |
