1 lb. thin spaghetti
4 or 5 spring onions
4 or 5 pegs garlic
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil (preferably Mazola or Sunlight), divided
1 tsp. vinegar
Crushed red pepper (optional)
1 tsp. sesame oil (optional)
1/3 c. soy sauce
Chop onions and garlic. Mix garlic, onion, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce in bowl. Heat 1/4 cup of oil (make it very hot). Pour the sizzling oil into the ingredients in bowl and stir. Let sit for 10-15 minutes.
Cook the spaghetti noodles (cook until slightly firm, not real soft). rinse the spaghetti with cold water; grease it with the remaining 1/4 cup oil. Sprinkle noodles with salt and sesame oil. Add the sauce from the bowl just before serving.
