2/3 c. vinegar
1 med. onion
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 tbsp. poppy seeds
Cut onion into quarters and put into a blender. Add vinegar, salt, mustard, and sugar. Blend well. Add oil slowly while blending. Pour dressing into glass jar and then - ONLY THEN - stir in the poppy seeds. Cover and refrigerate. If dressing separates shake well before serving.
Good for green salads and avocado or grapefruit salads. It will keep well if refrigerated.
