1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 2/3 c. light corn syrup 2/3 c. whipping cream 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter 1/8 tsp. salt Combine all ingredients in small saucepan and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches soft ball stage (238 degrees). Let cool slightly before serving. Makes 2 cups. |
