In heavy saucepan put: 1 tbsp. butter. Add: onion (1 med. to lg.) 1 chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 1/2 c. water or beef broth from boiling meat Sm. can tomato sauce 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. Colman's mustard 1/2 tsp. grated ginger 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. celery salt 2 tbsp. vinegar or lemon juice 3 tbsp. honey 3 heaping tbsp. brown sugar Salt & pepper if needed Set oven to 350 degrees. Parboil chicken or ribs first. Add sauce and bake for about 1 hour, turning and basting occasionally. |
