PEACH ICE CREAM (HOMEMADE)

4 c. ripe peaches, peeled & finely chopped
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
Food coloring (red & yellow)
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
2 c. whipping cream
1 c. sugar (or less)
1 qt. milk (2% is satisfactory)

Make mash of fruit, 1/4 cup sugar and water. Add 2 drops each of food coloring. Drain, reserve liquid. Add peach liquid with water, enough to make 1 3/4 cups (approximate) liquid. Combine peach mash with condensed milk, cream and sugar.

Put all ingredients in ice cream freezer can. Add enough dairy milk to make approximately 3 quarts ice cream (i.e. less than 1 quart milk). Mix and freeze according to manufacturer's directions, approximately 45 minutes.
