BANANA SPLIT
 

1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
3 sticks butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
5 bananas
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained
Frozen dessert topping
1 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Walnuts and maraschino cherries

Mix wafers and 1 stick melted butter and pat into 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix 2 sticks butter, powdered sugar, and eggs. Beat for 15 minutes. spread over crust. Slice bananas lengthwise and arrange over powdered sugar mixture. Spread crushed pineapple over bananas. Cover all with generous layer of whipped topping. Drizzle melted chocolate over whipped topping. Top it off with crushed nuts and maraschino cherries. This dessert can be made the day before you want to serve it and will keep for a couple of days.
