1 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 beaten eggs
Bread crumbs
Boil milk, butter and salt. Gradually sift in the flour, beating constantly so that no lumps form. Remove from heat and let stand until cool. Knead well.
Let stand 1 hour and then follow procedure for Fried Turnovers (above), cutting with a 4-inch cutter. Fill. Dip in beaten eggs. Coat with bread crumbs and fry in hot fat or oil. Yields: 16.
