BLACKBERRY DUMPLING'S
 

PART 1:

3 pts. ripe blackberries
3/4 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Combine in pan and let set while fixing Part 2.

PART 2:

2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Milk

Sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder into mixing bowl. Add egg; mix well and then add enough milk to make stiff batter.

Place Part 1 on stove and bring to a boil and drop the dumpling batter, a spoonful at a time into the boiling mixture. (Dumpling batter can be rolled out on floured surface and cut into squares.)

Cover with lid and cook for about 15 or 20 minutes. Can be changed using other berries.
