2 c. gumdrops, cut up (omit black ones)
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
15 oz. pkg. raisins (or less)
3 1/2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. applesauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Line 2 loaf pans, 9x5x2 inches with waxed paper. In a bowl, combine gumdrops, nuts, and raisins with 1/2 cup flour. Toss to coat. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
