HOMEMADE BUTTER PECAN ICE CREAM
 

3 c. Pet or Carnation (evaporated) milk
3 c. reg. sweet milk (not skim)
2 whole cans Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 tbsp. butter extract
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
3 c. broken pecan halves (toasted crisp in butter)

Mix all the above ingredients well (add 1 cup granulated sugar if you like extra sweet ice cream). Pour into electric (or hand crank) freezer and turn until it cuts off, or quite stiff.

Remove can of cream from freezer, wipe off and slowly remove the dash. Put cork in can lid and place can in freezing compartment of refrigerator for minimum of 2 hours (to age and set well). Remove just before serving time.
