CRUST: 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. melted butter Grease 9"x13" spring form pan with butter. Blend crust ingredients and line bottom and sides (1/2 way up) with mixture. 1ST PART: 1 lb. cream cheese (2 lg. pkgs.) 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. vanilla 3 eggs Beat cheese until creamy; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Pour into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and place on cake rack for about 15 minutes. Then increase heat in oven to 475 degrees. 2ND PART: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pt. sour cream 1/4 c. sugar Cream sour cream and sugar; add vanilla. Pour this mixture over 1st part, starting around sides and gradually moving into center of cake. Bake again about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and place on cake rack to cool completely. Remove sides and put into refrigerator. This cheese cake tastes just like Sara Lee's original but better. |
