6 egg yolks, beaten 1 c. Rusk crumbs 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking powder Mix egg yolks, sugar and beat. Add crumbs, nuts, vanilla and baking powder. Mix well, add 6 beaten egg whites. Mix well. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. SAUCE: Melt 48 Milk Duds in double boiler, add 1/2 cup milk and 2 tablespoons butter. Cook until milk duds are melted. Fold in 1 cup powdered sugar. Whip 1/2 pint whipping cream. Spread over cooled cake spread, refrigerate. |
