3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter or Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. milk
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter or Crisco
FOR FILLING: Cook filling ingredients until thick and add a lump of butter.
FOR DOUGH: Mix dry ingredients with butter. Add milk, egg and vanilla. Grease and flour a pan and press half of dough on bottom. Add pineapple mixture. Roll out dough top and cover so no pineapple is showing. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
