2 c. brown sugar
2 medium eggs
pinch of salt
2 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. soft butter
1 cup of milk and 1 egg mixed together
8 slices of bread, crusts cut off

Put first 5 ingredients into a large bowl. Beat with fork, not a mixer. Until well blended. In a baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. place the slices of the bread on the bottom, pour the mixture of milk and egg over it, followed by the brown sugar mixture.

Bake at 350°F 30-35 minutes.
