2 lbs. stew beef, cut in 1" cubes 5 carrots, sliced 1 lg. onion, diced 3 stalks celery, sliced 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice 1 sm. pkg. tapioca pudding 1 whole clove or 1/8 tsp. ground cloves 2 bay leaves Salt & pepper to taste Trim all fat from meat. Put all ingredients in crock pot. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours or high 5 to 6 hours. Serves 4 to 6. This recipe is easily doubled. |
