Powdered sugar, sifted
Milk or water
Food coloring if desired
Flavoring, if desired

Mix ingredients in small bowl to desired consistency. May be painted on with paintbrush (1 inch size), spread with knife, or cookies may be dipped. The glaze makes decoration of cookie much easier.
